In today’s life, the development of technology is going very rapid. There are many inventions and innovations are done by many experts, scientist, and even the ordinary people. One of the innovative inventions is SODIS. SODIS stands for solar water disinfection. Using this system, people are able to consume clean water without any high cost. Moreover, it is very easy to do.

Let’s discuss about the method of cleaning the water using this kind of system. The first thing you need to prepare is the PET bottle. It has to be clean bottle. Then after that, you fill the bottle with the water and close the cap. Then the next step to do is exposing or put the bottle in a place where it can get sunlight directly. You can put it in a high place in order to avoid the not-direct sunlight in a certain time. After that, store the water in the SODIS water. And finally you can consume it. You can directly drink it or using a glass to drink it.

This SODIS system is actually not really takes time. You only need couple hours in order to be able to get the clean water. You can prepare a lot of bottle of water as the storage for your daily needs.

The germs that contained in the food will be dead during the cooking. But it is different with the water. Even though the people boiled the water before they consume it, the germs still alive and endanger the people who consume the water.
