In certain country, the water was unreliable but the sun was reliable. This is means that the water is not safe enough to consume and might be containing germs and viruses which are can cause many diseases. This can be happening at the rural and urban areas at the developing countries. Therefore, many of developing countries had many problems with the medical environments.
 
These developing countries can use the solar power to kill the bacteria that containing the water that they consume daily. This way is very easy way to do, cheap, and practical. This solar power contains ultra violet that able to kill the bacteria in the water, with a little help from special equipment, the people able to purify the water. Ultraviolet rays in the sunlight are also able to destroy microorganisms. Some of these rays can go through glass or clear plastic bottles.  5 hours of normal sunlight will disinfect river water so it is safe to use for drinking.

The sunlight might do not be able to kill all kinds of germs, but it inactivates the bacteria causing diarrhea, cholera and typhus. The system can be used even when the water contains many more microorganisms than normally.
